“If we can do the next thing,
we can accomplish marvels.”
Our story began over a decade ago when Teddy Weiss used his camera to help tell the story of an afterschool program A.J. Ernst was running for students from under-resourced communities in Philadelphia. The photos and videos Teddy captured helped raise awareness and funding, transforming the grassroots program into a full-fledged nonprofit and expanding our impact. Since then, we’ve stayed connected—collaborating on projects that reflect our shared commitment to increasing educational opportunities for young people.
Team
While our day jobs led us down different paths—A.J. focused on expanding educational opportunities for young people and Teddy engaged in international relations—we continued to collaborate creatively.
Together, we have published work on systemic inequalities, led initiatives to transform schools, and volunteered to support organizations that assist students, artists, and community leaders.
In 2025, we found ourselves on a rooftop in Mexico City, reflecting on how we could contribute more intentionally. With Teddy pursuing a career in journalism and filmmaking, and A.J. advancing as a writer and researcher, we realized we had the ability to help mission-driven organizations tell their stories with clarity, beauty, and purpose.
We returned home with a renewed sense of direction, ready to do the next thing, and the hundred things beyond that.
